Stepping up in Diesel's range
At 51mm across and 14mm thick, the Mega Chief sits large on the wrist. The stainless steel case combines silver and gold tones, with a gold-tone crown guard adding an industrial edge. The black sunray dial carries gold-tone accents throughout, with three chronograph sub-dials tracking minutes, seconds, and tenths of seconds, plus a date window at three o'clock beneath a signature plaque. Luminous hands and indices aid low-light reading. The two-tone plated link bracelet, 26mm wide, fastens with a double push-button deployment clasp. Mineral crystal sits over the dial, and the watch is rated to 100 metres.

Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
Where most fashion watches aim for restraint, Diesel does the opposite: oversized cases frequently past 50mm, blacked-out finishes, exposed screws, multiple crowns, and dials that prioritise visual impact over legibility. The Mr Daddy models stack four time zones onto a single dial.
Whether that appeals is a matter of taste, but the design intent is consistent and unmistakable, which is more than can be said for much of the category.
