The Mega Chief is a large-format round watch built around a 51mm gold-tone case sitting 14mm thick on the wrist. The black dial carries chronograph subdials alongside a date display, with luminous hands and markers for legibility in low light. A fixed gold-tone bezel frames the mineral crystal. The 26mm black leather strap fastens with a tang buckle and balances the considerable case weight of 134g. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres.

Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
Where most fashion watches aim for restraint, Diesel does the opposite: oversized cases frequently past 50mm, blacked-out finishes, exposed screws, multiple crowns, and dials that prioritise visual impact over legibility. The Mr Daddy models stack four time zones onto a single dial.
Whether that appeals is a matter of taste, but the design intent is consistent and unmistakable, which is more than can be said for much of the category.
