Stepping up in the same dial colour
The D-Era takes its shape directly from Diesel's oval logo plaque, stretched vertically into a case that reads more like a design object than a conventional watch. At 19mm wide but 39mm from lug to lug, it sits tall on the wrist rather than wide — an unusual proportion that gives it a sculptural, almost architectural quality against the skin. The two-hand, no-seconds dial keeps the black face completely uncluttered, which suits the case shape: any additional information would compete with the geometry rather than complement it. On a narrow wrist it makes a considered impression; on a broader one it reads as a deliberate contrast.

Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
