Stepping up in the same colour and case shape
At 48mm across and 13mm thick, the Griffed sits large on the wrist with the crown and twin chronograph pushers positioned on the left side of the case — an unconventional arrangement that gives the watch a distinctive profile. The black PVD stainless steel case carries a matching bracelet secured by a fold-over deployment clasp with safety release pushers. The black dial organises three sub-dials across the face, tracking seconds, minutes, and a 24-hour display, with the date at nine o'clock. Index markers and the main hands carry luminescent treatment for low-light legibility, protected behind a scratch-resistant mineral crystal.

Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
Where most fashion watches aim for restraint, Diesel does the opposite: oversized cases frequently past 50mm, blacked-out finishes, exposed screws, multiple crowns, and dials that prioritise visual impact over legibility. The Mr Daddy models stack four time zones onto a single dial.
Whether that appeals is a matter of taste, but the design intent is consistent and unmistakable, which is more than can be said for much of the category.
