Stepping up in the same colour and case shape
At 48mm across and 13mm thick, this is a deliberately substantial watch that sits with presence on the wrist. The black ion-plated stainless steel case is matched by an oyster-style bracelet of the same material, fastened with a push-button deployment clasp. The mineral crystal carries an iridescent finish that catches light against the black dial, which is marked with silver-tone stick indices. The chronograph layout includes sub-dials for elapsed minutes and seconds, a 24-hour sub-dial, and a date window at nine o'clock. The case back is screw-down.

Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
Where most fashion watches aim for restraint, Diesel does the opposite: oversized cases frequently past 50mm, blacked-out finishes, exposed screws, multiple crowns, and dials that prioritise visual impact over legibility. The Mr Daddy models stack four time zones onto a single dial.
Whether that appeals is a matter of taste, but the design intent is consistent and unmistakable, which is more than can be said for much of the category.
