Stepping up in Diesel's range
At 55 mm × 57 mm and 14 mm thick, this is a deliberately oversized case in black ion-plated stainless steel, finished with a combination of brushed and polished surfaces. The multi-layered black dial carries four separate time zones across its face, with a date window at 3 o'clock and chronograph sub-dials arranged across the dial. Luminous hands and indices aid reading in low light. An iridescent mineral crystal sits above the dial, and a single-link black stainless steel bracelet — 28 mm at the lug — fastens with a folding deployment closure.

Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
Where most fashion watches aim for restraint, Diesel does the opposite: oversized cases frequently past 50mm, blacked-out finishes, exposed screws, multiple crowns, and dials that prioritise visual impact over legibility. The Mr Daddy models stack four time zones onto a single dial.
Whether that appeals is a matter of taste, but the design intent is consistent and unmistakable, which is more than can be said for much of the category.
