Stepping up in the same colour and case shape
The Khaki Field line draws directly from the military-issue watches Hamilton supplied to American forces through much of the twentieth century, and this 38mm version keeps the logic of those originals intact: a dial arranged on 24-hour Arabic numerals so that AM and PM cannot be confused, hands and markers loaded with Super-LumiNova, and nothing on the face that does not belong there. At 8.3mm thick and 38mm across, it sits close enough to the wrist to disappear under a cuff without making a fuss of doing so. On the bracelet it reads as a working watch that happens to be well made rather than the other way around, which is the whole character of the field-watch genre. The deployant clasp holds it securely through the kind of use the design was built for, and the 46mm lug-to-lug span keeps it proportionate on a range of wrists.

Showering yes, swimming no. 50m covers splashes and brief immersion, but a swimming stroke generates well above the pressure that figure describes.
