The Khaki Field traces directly to the field watches Hamilton supplied to the United States military from the Second World War onwards — legible, robust, stripped of anything unnecessary. This quartz iteration keeps that brief intact: a matte black dial with upright Arabic numerals and a railway minute track that reads at a glance, which was always the only requirement. At 38mm and just 8.3mm thick, it sits flat and unobtrusive, and the NATO strap keeps it there — no bulk under a sleeve, no clunk against a desk. The end-of-life function on the ETA F06.105 is a small but practical feature: the second hand begins skipping to alert you before the battery fails entirely, so the watch does not simply stop on you at an inconvenient moment.
