Here, the case is NORTEQ carbon fibre, a proprietary composite that comes in at a fraction of steel's weight and lighter still than titanium — which matters on a 42mm chronograph that might otherwise feel substantial by the end of a long day. Inside that shell, a sandblasted titanium container houses the movement within a rubber shock absorber, so the layered engineering is structural rather than decorative. The NK24/1 is COSC-certified and runs as a flyback chronograph with column-wheel control, the kind of specification more commonly found in watches from much larger manufacturers. Its oscillating weight is shaped as a mountain peak, a deliberate reference to Norqain's Swiss alpine identity. With 62 hours of reserve, it will sit unworn over a weekend and restart without needing to be set. The skeletonised dial keeps the mechanics visible, with floating transparent counter discs at six and twelve that hover over the movement rather than obscuring it, and the whole arrangement reads cleanly in black against black — the kind of dial that opens up in direct light and closes down to near-monochrome in shade. The mesh-patterned rubber strap extends the material language of the case rather than working against it.
