Norqain Wild ONE Skeleton Chrono Burgundy Limited Edition 42mm
Ref. N3002.40Q02.B01.R01
Sits in Norqain’s upper tier here — more premium than three quarters of the Norqain watches we list, which start at £1,850.
Price range £1,850 to £7,150 across 34 Norqain watches in stock. The Wild ONE has worn many faces since Norqain launched the line, but a chronograph was never among them — until this 400-piece limited edition introduced the complication to the flagship range for the first time. The movement behind it, the NK24/1, is a flyback column-wheel chronograph built with Sellita's AMT division and certified to COSC tolerances, which means the timing function is not decorative architecture but a properly resolved mechanism. The case is a 25-part construction rather than a carved monolith: a burgundy NORTEQ carbon composite cage wrapped around a black rubber shock absorber with a sandblasted titanium container for the movement inside. That layered engineering is part of why a 42mm watch with a flyback chronograph comes in at 84 grams on the wrist — a figure that will surprise anyone who picks it up expecting the weight its appearance implies. The skeleton dial replaces conventional solid subdial discs with transparent floating ones, so the movement beneath reads clearly without the chronograph registers blocking it. At 13.6mm the case is not thin, but the carbon builds no sense of mass and the 22mm lug width keeps it anchored rather than sprawling. The rhodium-plated hands and faceted hour markers carry enough Super-LumiNova that the skeletonised dial — which can work against low-light legibility — remains readable after dark. The customisable brand plate on the left flank is a small Norqain signature that owners either quietly appreciate or swap out; it is there, either way.

Frequently asked questions, and things you should know about this watch
Can I swim with it?
Yes. At 200m it is rated for swimming, snorkelling and recreational diving.
Will the glass scratch?
Unlikely. Sapphire is second only to diamond in hardness and shrugs off everyday marking.
Does it need a battery?
No. It is automatic — the motion of your wrist winds it, and there is no cell to replace.
How long does it run for when it's not worn?
About 62 hours fully wound — enough to survive a night off the wrist, but not a full weekend.
What size strap does it take?
22mm. Any strap of that width will fit, and on most modern watches quick-release bars make the swap a two-minute job with no tools.
Will it fit my wrist?
Lug-to-lug is 49.40mm, which suits wrists from roughly 16.5cm (6½ inches) upward.
Lug-to-lug decides fit more than case diameter does.
Is it a men's or women's watch?
Listed as unisex, and at this size it suits any wrist that takes the dimensions.
