The ProPilot X has always been the harder-edged side of Oris's pilot line, and the Miss Piggy Edition carries that character into new territory in two directions at once: a 34mm case, the smallest the series has reached, and the first time it has been built in stainless steel rather than titanium. It follows the Kermit Edition of 2023, which found an audience well beyond the brand's usual orbit, and the approach here is a little more restrained than that watch — there is no date window, no portrait on the dial. Miss Piggy is kept in reserve for whoever turns the watch over, where a mineral glass spyhole in the screwed caseback frames a glamorous portrait on the lilac rotor, appearing and disappearing as the movement winds. The fanned bezel, sharp lug angles and crown guards mean that at 34mm this does not read as a delicate watch — the industrial architecture of the ProPilot X survives the size reduction intact. The pink dial works harder than it might seem: the applied hour markers are raised, the sword hands are silver-toned, and a baguette-cut lab-grown diamond sits at 12 o'clock. The mix of brushed and polished surfaces on the bracelet, with its aircraft seat-belt clasp, shifts noticeably as the wrist moves. One concession worth noting: there is no lume on the markers or hands, which is an unusual absence on a pilot's watch rated to 100m.
