The Cotton Candy line grew from the all-bronze case architecture Oris developed for the Hölstein Edition 2020 — bezel, crown, and bracelet all in bronze — then repurposed that platform for something lighter in spirit, pairing it with a small set of vivid dial colours. This reference is the wild green, and the combination of warm, aged-toned bronze against that particular green is the whole idea: a diver's watch that happens to look as though it is enjoying itself. At 38mm it sits on the wrist without imposing, and the 47.7mm lug-to-lug span means it carries that size honestly rather than running long on the wrist. The 13.1mm thickness comes largely from the domed sapphire, which curves the reflection of whatever is overhead into something almost liquid on the green dial. The bracelet is stainless rather than bronze, which reads as a deliberate contrast — the silver links keep the wrist end clean while the case accumulates its patina above it. The screw-down crown is signed and tactile but benefits from deliberate handling; the movement through its positions rewards patience rather than speed. The bronze itself will darken in wear, settling into whatever the owner's days look like, and that process can be wound back at any point with a dilute salt-and-vinegar solution if preferred — though most owners find they prefer not to.
