The original model dates to 1965, and Oris revived it a decade ago as the Divers Sixty-Five before reworking it entirely for its 60th anniversary in 2024 — renaming it the Divers Date and doubling the water resistance to 200m in the process. The case settled at 39mm, splitting the difference between the outgoing 40mm and 38mm variants, and came down to 12.1mm thick, which is genuinely slim for a rated diver and allows it to pass under a cuff without the usual bulk. At 46.5mm lug-to-lug the proportions are disciplined, and shorter lugs keep the vintage character intact without the watch sitting proud of the wrist. The unidirectional bezel is narrower than its predecessor, which opens up the dial rather than crowding it, and the black ceramic insert reads cleanly against the black dial in flat light. The Calibre 733 carries Oris's signature red rotor, now visible through an exhibition caseback — a detail that works better in the hand than on paper, particularly given the blue glow the Super-LumiNova produces in the dark. The watch ships with both the steel bracelet and a rubber Tropic-style strap on a quick-change system, which means the character of the watch can shift without tools.
