The Le Locle collection was born in 2003 from Tissot's 150th anniversary, its design taking direct cues from the clock tower of the Swiss Jura town that has been the brand's home since its founding. This 20th anniversary edition of that collection marks the occasion with details that set it apart from the standard range: blue Roman numerals at the four cardinal positions, matching leaf hands, and eight Top Wesselton diamonds at the remaining hour positions, all laid over a silver dial worked in a Clous de Paris guilloche pattern. At 29mm the watch sits close to the wrist without disappearing, and the Clous de Paris texture catches and breaks light across the dial in a way a plain surface cannot. The bracelet is steel, but the anniversary edition ships with a dark blue leather strap on a quick-change system requiring no tools — the two options read as genuinely coordinated rather than an afterthought. Inside, the Nivachron balance spring in the calibre 2671 resists magnetic fields that would disturb a conventional alloy, and the movement is visible through the caseback, which gives the automatic mechanism somewhere to be seen.
