The Chronomaster Sport was built around one objective: to let El Primero 3600 do what no standard chronograph movement can. Running at 36,000 vibrations per hour, it tracks to a tenth of a second using a dedicated central hand — a function that existed in prototype form at Zenith decades before most houses had managed a reliable column-wheel. The Sport edition is the daily-wear expression of that capability, the one Zenith intends to be wound, knocked about, and used. The meteorite dial is not a decorative choice made to look interesting — the Widmanstätten crystal patterns formed over billions of years of cooling in space, and no two dials share them. Against that ground, the three overlapping sub-registers in white, silver, and grey read with unusual depth, their colours separating cleanly at a glance rather than asking the eye to work. The black ceramic bezel carries the 1/10th-of-a-second scale that makes the movement's capability legible at a distance. Through the exhibition caseback, the 3600 is worth the attention: 311 to 319 parts assembled to hold a 60-hour reserve while sustaining that frequency. The integrated bracelet and the included rubber strap offer two genuinely different characters for the same watch — one formal enough for a cuff, the other suited to whatever made the 100-metre rating seem worth having.
