The Stinger collection is Diesel's most single-minded line — watches designed entirely around visual weight and urban presence, with no concession to refinement. The DZ2243 takes that further by stripping away any contrasting colour, leaving an all-black resin case and silicone strap that reads as one continuous object on the wrist. At 44mm across and only 10mm thick, the resin construction keeps the weight low enough that it does not drag, and the 24mm strap sits confidently proportioned rather than swamped beneath a case this wide. The Miyota movement inside is Citizen's workhorse calibre — no prestige, but approximately three years between battery changes and accuracy that requires no attention.

Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
Where most fashion watches aim for restraint, Diesel does the opposite: oversized cases frequently past 50mm, blacked-out finishes, exposed screws, multiple crowns, and dials that prioritise visual impact over legibility. The Mr Daddy models stack four time zones onto a single dial.
