Here that detail is a genuine diamond at the twelve o'clock position, which on a black dial reads as a point of light rather than an ornament, and sharpens the otherwise uncluttered layout without complicating it. At 44mm the case runs wide but stays surprisingly low at 10mm, which helps it settle on the wrist without lifting off the skin.
