The Sfida collection exists to translate Maserati's motorsport identity into something worn on the wrist rather than bolted to a dashboard — the tachymeter bezel is functional punctuation on that idea, not decoration. Gold PVD over steel gives the case and bracelet a warmer register than raw brushed metal, and against it the sunray blue dial with its three chronograph sub-dials reads with more contrast than the colour alone would suggest. At 44mm and 11mm thin, the case sits flatter against the wrist than the diameter implies, and 176 grams means the bracelet has genuine presence without pulling. The deployant clasp releases cleanly one-handed, which matters on a watch worn in the spirit its bezel suggests.

The Maserati brothers founded their workshop in Bologna in 1914 and built racing cars that won the Targa Florio and the Indianapolis 500. The trident emblem comes from the Fountain of Neptune in Bologna.
The watches are a licensed line produced by Morellato Group in Italy, not by the carmaker. They draw openly on automotive design: tachymeter bezels, perforated leather straps recalling racing gloves, dashboard-style dials, and case shapes referencing grilles and instrument binnacles.
