The Deco line draws its geometry from Art Deco architecture — strict rectangles, Roman numerals, a refusal of anything curved that isn't load-bearing. The Park variant is the smaller expression of that idea, and at 29mm it sits firmly in dress-watch territory: narrow enough to clear a cuff, proportioned to read as jewellery on a slender wrist without sacrificing legibility. The mother-of-pearl dial shifts with the light in a way a painted dial does not, and the gold-tone Roman numerals and hands hold their contrast against it across the day. The two-tone bracelet — steel and 18K gold plate alternating — carries the case's own colour logic through to the wrist, and the push-button deployment clasp makes it straightforward to put on and take off without fussing with a tang. The 14mm lug width also means the bracelet can be swapped for any Michele strap in the same width, which broadens what the watch can do across different occasions.

Michele traces back to Maurice Barouh, a European-trained watchmaker who set up in Miami after the Second World War building watches to order. His son Jack continued the business, and named the modern brand after his daughter, Michele Barouh, who became its designer.
The signature is the strap system. Michele watches are built around quickly interchangeable straps in leather, silicone, alligator and steel, so the same head can be rebuilt to suit the occasion — a proposition aimed squarely at buyers who think of a watch as part of an outfit rather than a permanent fixture.
The Deco is the defining case, a rectangular art deco shape that has carried the collection since the 1990s, alongside round chronographs with heavily jewelled bezels.
Fossil Group acquired the company in 2004, and it sits within the group's owned brands rather than its licences.
Movements are Swiss quartz for the most part, with generous diamond setting; the appeal is the design system rather than the mechanics.
