The PRX line reaches back to a 1978 original, and this 2024 edition pulls in a second set of references entirely — the Japanese manga series UFO Robot Grendizer, which ran through the 1970s as a cultural touchstone across Japan and much of the Arab world. The robot's bust is embossed at the centre of the sunbrushed blue dial, its indices and hands sharing Super-LumiNova with the figure itself, which glows yellow in the dark. The inner rim carries the original Japanese title, and the movement rotor is engraved with Grendizer imagery — details visible through the exhibition caseback that give an owner things to find gradually rather than all at once. The tonneau case shape means 40mm reads smaller on the wrist than a round case at the same stated width, sitting flush and low against the wrist on the integrated bracelet.
