The PRC 100 arrived in the mid-2000s as a sport watch with a strong visual character, and this 34mm version brings something the original lacked: a movement that never needs winding and almost never needs attention. The F06.615 uses photovoltaic cells hidden beneath the crystal in a honeycomb array to convert ambient light into stored energy, with enough surplus in a full accumulator to run for up to 14 months in complete darkness. When reserves finally drop low enough to matter, the second hand shifts to four-second jumps as a warning — a more useful alert than a watch that simply stops. The case itself is 316L steel under yellow gold PVD, and at 9.14mm thick it sits flatter on the wrist than the sport-watch category usually manages. The dodecagonal bezel gives the dial surround some visual structure without adding bulk, and the champagne dial with luminous gold-tone hands reads clearly across different light rather than committing to one register.
