The 35mm version arrived in 2023 specifically for those who found the 40mm too large — though in practice the squared case outline and the wide bracelet exit give it considerably more wrist presence than 35mm usually implies, and reviewers consistently find it wearing closer to 37mm. The ice blue dial has a waffle texture that catches light obliquely and shifts between flat and dimensional depending on the angle, making what could read as a plain surface rather more active across a day. The Powermatic 80 inside is an ETA movement with an 80-hour power reserve and a Nivachron hairspring, which resists magnetic interference without requiring a dedicated shield — useful in daily use in a way that a deeper specification number might not be.
