The Scraper line is Diesel's attempt at something flatter and more wearable than the brand's usual bulk — and at 10mm thin, a 43mm case that might otherwise dominate the wrist sits closer to it than expected, reading as contemporary rather than aggressive. Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
Where most fashion watches aim for restraint, Diesel does the opposite: oversized cases frequently past 50mm, blacked-out finishes, exposed screws, multiple crowns, and dials that prioritise visual impact over legibility. The Mr Daddy models stack four time zones onto a single dial.
