At 51mm across and 12mm thick, the Mega Chief DZ4360 is a substantial round-cased chronograph in brushed and polished gold-tone 316L stainless steel. The multi-level sandwich dial carries chronograph subdials alongside a date window at three o'clock, with luminous hands and index markers for low-light legibility. A mineral crystal sits over the dial, and the case back screws in solidly. The gold-plated stainless steel bracelet runs to a standard 200mm length and fastens with a push-button fold-over deployment clasp. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres. The Miyota JS15 quartz movement times to one-tenth of a second over 60 minutes.

Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
Where most fashion watches aim for restraint, Diesel does the opposite: oversized cases frequently past 50mm, blacked-out finishes, exposed screws, multiple crowns, and dials that prioritise visual impact over legibility. The Mr Daddy models stack four time zones onto a single dial.
Whether that appeals is a matter of taste, but the design intent is consistent and unmistakable, which is more than can be said for much of the category.
