Stepping up in Diesel's range
At 51mm across and 14mm thick, the Mega Chief wears with considerable presence on the wrist. The case and bracelet are finished in black PVD stainless steel, with a solid case back and a matching black bezel. Beneath the mineral crystal, the black sunray dial carries stick indices and a skull motif worked into the background, alongside chronograph subdials and a date window. A fold-over push-button deployant clasp secures the bracelet. Water resistance stands at 100 metres.

Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
Where most fashion watches aim for restraint, Diesel does the opposite: oversized cases frequently past 50mm, blacked-out finishes, exposed screws, multiple crowns, and dials that prioritise visual impact over legibility. The Mr Daddy models stack four time zones onto a single dial.
Whether that appeals is a matter of taste, but the design intent is consistent and unmistakable, which is more than can be said for much of the category.
