Maserati R8873642001 Stile Chronograph Bracelet Watch - W81130
Ref. R8873642001
Sits in Maserati’s upper tier here — more premium than three quarters of the Maserati watches we list, which start at £104.
Price range £104 to £419 across 106 Maserati watches in stock. The Stile collection draws its design language directly from Maserati's road cars, and the case makes that heritage legible without labelling it: the fixed bezel is cut into ten flat faces, each one vertically brushed across its face and polished at the sides, replicating the profile of a drive flange or wheel nut. The knurled crown at three o'clock carries a recessed trident, which repeats on the dial — a detail that would be excessive on most watches but reads as consistency here. At 45mm it carries real presence, but 11mm of thickness means it sits considerably flatter than the case width implies, and it will clear a shirt cuff without pulling the fabric. The black dial and full gold PVD finish across both case and bracelet hold together as a coordinated whole, the deployant clasp closing flush so the bracelet reads as a single piece rather than an assembly.

Learn more about Maserati
The Maserati brothers founded their workshop in Bologna in 1914 and built racing cars that won the Targa Florio and the Indianapolis 500. The trident emblem comes from the Fountain of Neptune in Bologna.
The watches are a licensed line produced by Morellato Group in Italy, not by the carmaker. They draw openly on automotive design: tachymeter bezels, perforated leather straps recalling racing gloves, dashboard-style dials, and case shapes referencing grilles and instrument binnacles.
Movements are quartz and bought-in automatic. The appeal is the association and the styling rather than the mechanics.

Frequently asked questions, and things you should know about this watch
Can I swim with it?
Yes. At 100m it is rated for swimming and snorkelling, though not for diving.
Will the glass scratch?
It can, over time. Mineral glass handles daily wear but will pick up fine scratches that sapphire would not.
Does it need a battery?
Yes. It is quartz, so expect a battery change every two to three years at a jeweller.
What size strap does it take?
22mm. Any strap of that width will fit, and on most modern watches quick-release bars make the swap a two-minute job with no tools.
Is it a men's or women's watch?
Listed as men's.
