Stepping up in Maserati's range
A 44mm stainless steel case wearing a yellow gold PVD coating gives this Sfida Chronograph a substantial, uniform presence on the wrist. The fixed bezel carries a green tachymetre scale with gold markers — a sharp contrast against the all-gold aesthetic. At 11mm thick, the case sits close without bulk. The gold dial is arranged with chronograph sub-dials, a 24-hour indicator, and a date window between four and five o'clock. Luminous markers and hands aid reading in low light. Power comes from a Miyota JS25 quartz movement. The gold PVD link bracelet closes with a double push-button deployment clasp, and the watch is rated to 100 metres.

Learn more about Maserati
The Maserati brothers founded their workshop in Bologna in 1914 and built racing cars that won the Targa Florio and the Indianapolis 500. The trident emblem comes from the Fountain of Neptune in Bologna.
The watches are a licensed line produced by Morellato Group in Italy, not by the carmaker. They draw openly on automotive design: tachymeter bezels, perforated leather straps recalling racing gloves, dashboard-style dials, and case shapes referencing grilles and instrument binnacles.
Movements are quartz and bought-in automatic. The appeal is the association and the styling rather than the mechanics.

Frequently asked questions, and things you should know about this watch
Can I swim with it?
Yes. At 100m it is rated for swimming and snorkelling, though not for diving.

It can, over time. Mineral glass handles daily wear but will pick up fine scratches that sapphire would not.
Sapphire, mineral and acrylic comparedDoes it need a battery?

Quartz, automatic and solar comparedIs it a men's or women's watch?
Listed as men's.
