Price range £270 to £2,740 across 233 Tissot watches in stock.The PRX takes its name from its original brief: Précis, Robuste, and the Roman numeral for ten, a reference to the 100-metre rating that set it apart when it first appeared in 1978. That watch was built deliberately flat, with a tonneau case that dissolved into an integrated bracelet rather than sitting atop it — a response to the quartz crisis, when mechanical watches needed reasons to exist. The 35mm version, introduced in 2023, returns the design closer to those original proportions, which were narrower than the 40mm format that anchored the 2021 revival. The gold PVD finishing is consistent across the case and bracelet, and the champagne dial's waffle pattern catches light at an angle in a way that flat colour would not. At 10.9mm thick, the case wears lower than the integrated-bracelet format might suggest, and the 11mm lug width keeps the whole thing contained on smaller wrists without any sense of the bracelet dominating. The Powermatic 80 movement inside carries a Nivachron hairspring — a titanium-based alloy engineered to resist magnetic fields more reliably than conventional steel — and an 80-hour reserve, which means a watch left on the nightstand Friday survives to Monday without winding.
