Stepping up in Versace's range
The Hellenyium sits in a 42mm stainless steel case measuring 10mm thick, with a fixed gold-tone bezel carrying the Versace name around its edge. The blue dial is arranged with gold-tone index hour markers and matching hands, a Medusa head at twelve o'clock, and a date window at three. Luminescent details are applied to the hands and markers. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal sits above the dial, and the two-tone bracelet — combining silver-tone and gold-tone steel — fastens with a push-button deployment clasp. The watch weighs 146g on the wrist.

Learn more about Versace
Gianni Versace founded his house in Milan in 1978 and built it on maximalism — bold prints, Greek key borders, and the Medusa head he took from the floor of the Roman ruins he played in as a child. Donatella Versace took over after his death in 1997.
The watches are Swiss made, produced through Timex Group's Swiss division, and carry the house iconography prominently: Medusa medallions on dials and crowns, Greca patterns on bezels and bracelets.
Movements are Swiss quartz and automatic. The watches sit above the licensed-fashion tier on build, while remaining unmistakably design-led rather than horology-led.

Frequently asked questions, and things you should know about this watch
Can I swim with it?
Showering yes, swimming no. 50m covers splashes and brief immersion, but a swimming stroke generates well above the pressure that figure describes.
Water resistance explainedWill the glass scratch?
Unlikely. Sapphire is second only to diamond in hardness and shrugs off everyday marking.
Sapphire, mineral and acrylic comparedDoes it need a battery?
Yes. It is quartz, so expect a battery change every two to three years at a jeweller.
Quartz, automatic and solar comparedIs it a men's or women's watch?
Listed as men's.
